Projects

A project is defined by identifying problems that can be resolved and selecting strategies to address those problems.

A Project takes place over a number of periods of time. All participation and products are assigned to a specific period.

To start a project one must define one or more Problems. Work is done over time to resolve these problems and this work is recorded as Products.

Creating and Editing Projects

Projects are managed through the Administration | Sustainability | Projects menu. Here you can find a table of existing projects and a new project is created by clicking on Create Project.

The Project Definition form provides a quick mechanism for building and modifying the project.

Begin by naming and describing the project. The name will appear in project selectors while the description can be a useful instruction for operators when it comes to recording products and other data.

Only Active projects will be selectable when recording project participation. Uncheck the Active checkbox to hide this project.
