Shipments Table

A guide to using and navigating the shipment data tables

At the heart of the system is the table of shipments. The table displays one row per order, grouped by shipment.

The pages Active Shipments, All Shipments, Completed Shipments and the various Flags all share this table system. Each of these, however, are separate pages and can be separately configured.

Elements of the Table

All tables follow a similar layout. On the top right is the Table Search which searches every available column of the table for matching text. Above each column is an individual Column Search filter which searches for matching text in just that column.

Multi-Select Filter

Some column search fields are a multi-select filter. This filter allows you to select one or more items that appear in the columns. When you click inside this field you will see a drop-down list of possible items. You can type text in to search for matching items.

Table Controls

The table controls consist of Configure (see below), Refresh and Export (see below). The Refresh button simply updates the table to reflect any changes.

Configuring Table Size and Columns

You may wish to change the number of shipments displayed on each page and which columns are visible (and in what order). To do this you can use the Table Configuration button (in Table Controls).

This button opens a dialogue where you can configure your table.

Here you can change the number of rows displayed on each page. You can also switch columns on and off, and re-arrange them by dragging column names.

When you click Save this layout will be remembered for the current page. This means you can configure Active Shipments separately from Completed Shipments, as an example.

Click Reset to Default to return the layout to the default arrangement. This essentially clears your preferences.

Saving your Filter

You may want to create a custom page that displays filtered shipment data. For this you should use bookmarks as the table arrangement and filters are included in the bookmark.

Simply arrange the table the way you want and configure the filters then click Bookmark This Page to save the page to your bookmarks. When you re-visit that bookmark, your filter settings and table preferences will be retained.

Exporting Table Data

Regardless of how many items appear on your page, you can export all filtered records from the table using the Export feature.

When you click on the Export button you can select what file format you want your export to be provided in. You can also e-mail the exported data by clicking on the Email option.
